Who are we?

We are a city centre church in central Cardiff, and we want to share God's love with those around us.

Rydyn ni'n eglwys yng nghanol y ddinas ble rydyn ni'n awyddus i rannu cariad Duw gyda phawb.

Community impact

With the cost of living crisis impacting so many of us, Tabernacl wants to provide a safe, warm space in the centre of Cardiff where people can come and find a friendly listening ear, have some hot food and drink, enjoy simple activities, and if necessary be signposted on to further help.

Rydyn ni am helpu pobl i ddelio â'r argyfwng costau byw drwy ddarparu lle cynnes a  diogel  lle gallant gael bwyd a diodydd poeth am ddim.

Why are we crowdfunding?

We want to raise enough money to be able to cook a hot meal for the people who attend our warm space, ideally twice a week. Many of these people are homeless and vulnerable, and having a hot meal provided can make a big difference.

Rydym am godi digon o arian i allu coginio pryd o fwyd poeth i'r bobl sy'n mynychu ein gofod cynnes, ddwywaith yr wythnos os bosib. Mae llawer o'r bobl hyn yn ddigartref ac yn agored i niwed, ac mae'r ganolfan glyd yn gallu gwneud gwahaniaeth fawr.

How we’ll spend the money raised

We will spend the money raised on buying healthy ingredients to cook hot meals for those attending our warm space, and towards fuel costs for heating the warm space. We asked our guests what they would like to eat, and they said: chicken curry, chilli con carne, spaghetti bolognese and lasagne. So that's what's on the menu!

Byddwn yn gwario'r arian sy'n cael ei godi ar brynu cynhwysion iach i goginio prydau poeth i'r rhai sy'n mynychu ein gofod cynnes, a thuag at gostau tanwydd i wresogi'r lle cynnes. Fe ofynnon ni i'n gwesteion beth hoffen nhw ei fwyta, a dyma oedd eu hymateb: cyri cyw iâr, chilli con carne, spaghetti bolognese a lasagne. Felly dyna sydd ar y fwydlen!
