Aim
Bute resilience is running a warm space in Rothesay town centre. Everyone is very welcome to pop in for a heat, natter & some homemade food.
We are Bute resilience, we have been on the go for the last 4 years. We are all volunteers giving up our time to assist our Island. We are working within the community on the Island of Bute carrying out lots of activities to help out our community in times of need or crisis.

Why are we crowdfunding?
Bute resilience is crowdfunding because we have set up a warm space - for everyone. The cost of living is affecting everyone and things are hard for lots. We started in December after being approached by several people asking of its something we could consider due to the amount of people suffering due to the cost of living. Since we have started in late December we have had whopping numbers coming in for a warm home cook meal and at the same time enjoying the company of others. There is activities for the children to do while the parent or parents have 5 minutes to talk to other parents. We also offer meals to anyone that can't come to the warm space.
We run the warm space twice a week -
Wednesday 4pm til 7pm
Sunday 1pm til 3pm.
We will run this project for as long as its needed as the cost of living and the economy wont be changing any time soon.
The name could change slightly when the weather starts to change, Though the food won't change, we will still offer home cooked meals.

How we’ll spend the money spent
The money will be spent on food for everyone attending the warm space. We offer home cooked meals, hot soup, sandwiches. Tea coffee and diluting juice for children.
We cater for all allergies, gluten free not an issue.
