Who are we?
Green Synergy is a Lincoln based gardening and horticulture charity that support people to socialise, learn and thrive in our beautiful community gardens and community spaces. Our stunning Hillside Garden is open access and provide a natural green space in the heart of the historic City of Lincoln.
We deliver a range of programmes and projects for children, young people and adults using gardening and horticulture to enable our communities to have fun, learn, come together and grow. Our approach is very person centred and our friendly experienced team are here to support anyone wanting to come onto the gardens.
We host a wide range of events and we are a Warm Space from our Community Office on Roman Pavement.
Green Synergy - Why our work is important
Green Synergy is situated in the heart of the City of Lincoln and our community gardens provide a quiet and peaceful and natural green space for people to enjoy gardening and horticulture activities. It enables people to come together, socialise, have fun, build their confidence and skills.
Our children and young people projects enable children to learn more about growing and nurturing plants, where food comes from and taking part in social action volunteering.
Our adult gardening projects support people to improve their physical and mental wellbeing through enjoyable and person centred gardening and therapeutic activity sessions.

Why Green Synergy are crowdfunding?
Green Synergy wishes to support our local communities during the cost of living crisis through our Green Places, Warm Spaces programme. We have already run one programme of 150 packs and the demand and need has been so high that we are seeking funding to deliver to more packs and sessions to local residents.
Green Synergy would distribute sustainable personal warm packs including hot water bottles, hand warmers, small blankets, hats and slow cookers. Using referrals we can distribute these to local residents within the Abbey ward in Lincoln.
We are offering a weekly warm space session where people can come together for a cuppa and chat with the aim of enabling people to keep warm and reduce isolation in a warm and friendly community hub. Green Synergy is the only indoor warm space on the Tower Estate in Lincoln.
How Green Synergy will spend the money raised
Green Synergy will use the funding raised to provide lunch clubs, warm spaces coffee mornings so more local residents who need support can access our warm spaces Cuppa and Chat sessions from our community office space in the heart of the City of Lincoln.
