Help us keep the Waltham Forest Windrush Awards going

The Waltham Forest Windrush Awards have been created to celebrate the people whose stories, service, leadership and legacy have helped shape community life across our borough.

From elders and pioneers to young leaders, civic contributors, culture keepers and allies, these Awards are about recognising people who have made — and continue to make — a meaningful difference.

The Awards are presented by the WF Windrush Community Consortium, with Skills Within Developments CIC and Great British Carnival CIC supporting the coordination of the wider Windrush programme in Waltham Forest.

We are raising funds to help keep the Awards going and make sure this becomes a lasting community legacy — not just a one-off event.

Your contribution will help us support the costs of the Awards ceremony, printed materials, community outreach, photography, awards production, volunteer coordination and accessibility.

This is about honouring the past, recognising the present and inspiring the future.
