Make Wall To Wall Music accessible to EVERYONE by moving to a new ground-floor premises
Hello,
I'm Cal and we're hitting our third year of being open after turning this into this: Wall To Wall Music-a combined music shop, rehearsal facility, guitar workshop & music school!
The space is amazing and has constantly evolved and improved. We've seen people get their first instruments, bands being formed, a super successful monthly open mic being born, treasured guitars brought back to life....the list goes on
However, there IS a big but. And I cannot lie.
We've reached the stage where the only things left to improve are those we can't:
•Our upstairs location has never been ideal and I'm very conscious and yes, a wee bit guilty, that we aren't accessible to everyone.
•Every week there's someone telling us they struggled to find us and it leaves me wondering how many people have simply given up looking...
•Better signage would help, but we have been told now that advertising consent for better signage at the height we're at would be unlikely. Sad times.
Because of this we have made the HUGE decision to move from 14 Glasgow Road and have secured new digs at....*record scratch*....14 Glasgow Road?
That's right, we have gotten the keys for the recently vacated downstairs floor!
The shop, workshop, tuition spaces will all move downstairs! The rehearsal room will stay right where it is
This means a few REALLY EXCITING things:
We will now be completely accessible to everyone that wants to visit our shop, get lessons and check things in with our workshop whilst still being able to offer on-site parking without the need for new directions.
Additionally we have gained an additional space AND garden where we can host instore gigs, signings and events at!
NOW WE NEED YOU
This is a big move! We are taking on a better space which means more expense. We want to fit out our shop, configure our workshop and equip our tuition room to offer even more than before and, boringly, we have the cost of tying things up at our old premises.
This is 100% happening regardless, but with your support we can do even more with the space and with less of these grey things here.
