Aim

Walking around the entirety of Okinawa to help raise funds to support the creation of the ResoluteMinds Wellness Hub in Belfast.

About ResoluteMinds Wellness Hub – Belfast

ResoluteMinds is a social enterprise working to create Belfast’s first lived-experience-led wellness hub supporting people affected by addiction, trauma, and mental health challenges.

The hub will combine physical wellbeing spaces with trauma-informed support, providing a safe, welcoming place for anyone who needs it.

Why This Hub Matters

Many people in Belfast face barriers to accessing timely support for mental health, addiction, and trauma. ResoluteMinds aims to bridge this gap by creating a space that supports both mental and physical wellbeing, helping people build stability, routine, and resilience.

My Challenge

I’ll be walking around the entirety of Okinawa Island alone — carrying everything I need on my back while documenting the journey day by day to raise money for Belfast.

I’m doing this to raise funds for ResoluteMinds — every step I take brings Belfast’s wellness hub closer to reality.

How Funds Will Be Used

All donations go directly to ResoluteMinds to help:

  • Secure and prepare premises
  • Set up gym and therapy spaces
  • Buy equipment and resources
  • Cover initial running costs
  • Open the doors to the community
