Sponsored walk on El Camino de Santiago, Portugal

Aim

Beginning my journey on November 1 2023, I will walk 75 Km along the Portuguese coastal route of El Camino de Santiago, beginning in Porto

The Camino de Santiago, also known as the Way of St. James, is a renowned pilgrimage of medieval origin that sees pilgrims journey to the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia in the northwest of Spain.                           The Camino Portugues Coastal is the second most popular route. This was an area of Portugal loved by my Dad, who passed away in May 2022. It would be his 74th birthday in November and I would like to do this walk to celebrate him and to help raise funds for his partner, Ruth.
