Who We Are
We are a friendly walking football group for men and women aged 50+, helping people stay active, improve their health, and enjoy the social benefits of being part of a team. Walking football is an inclusive sport that welcomes players of all abilities and backgrounds.
Why We Are Crowdfunding
We are raising funds to support our 13-hour Walking Football Marathon on 22nd August 2026. The event at Hurst College, College Lane, Hurstpierpoint, Hassocks BN6 9JS will bring together players, volunteers, family and supporters to celebrate healthy ageing, friendship and community spirit, while raising awareness of the benefits of walking football.
How We Will Spend The Money
Funds raised will help support the development of walking football in our community, providing equipment, facilities and opportunities for people aged 50+ to stay active and connected.
The Walking Football Marathon will also raise vital funds for Sussex Cancer Fund and the important work they do for people affected by cancer in our local community.
This project successfully funded on 24th August 2026
