After losing my lovely mother in law, to a rapid brain tumour, I embarked on a solo walk to raise money for Macmillan and also Cancer Research. I walked 1135 miles over 80 days with no previous experience - Lands End to JohnOGroats. I filmed my experiences along the way and apparently they're very funny. Managed to halve my blood sugar levels too (I'm diabetic). Hollywood want to make this into a tv film or unscripted documentary, however I do not have the funds available to initiate this. I have been out of work for over a year, as I had to have a quadruple heart bypass last autumn. I am now in possession of 2 torn rotator cuff shoulders too (lucky me!). However , I press onwards.
I'd like this film to be made as a legacy - highlighting the power of spending time in nature to help with mental health and the power of exercise to combat Diabetes. It's not all about what you eat!
I encountered hilarious situations on my journey along with incredible emotional and physical suffering. Every video clip made was unedited and taken only once!
We raised over £20,000 for 2 charities.
If we can produce this, then we can open the charity donation platform again and raise more money - as the whole streaming marketplace will be available to the public!
Please help me get this venture back on track again, as it has stalled!
The investment will be used to pay for a specific producer to carry the project through to completion.
Thank you.
