Walk from Camberley to Guildford Challengers

Aim

We’re walking 14 miles from our house in Camberley to Guildford Challengers to help fund their emergency appeal

My sister and I, (Izzie & Abbie Watkin) have both worked for Challengers for some time. Izzie started out as a volunteer when she was 15, became a full time worker during her gap year when she was 18 and has worked as much as possible when home from University since. I started working in October last year and we have both loved every minute of it. Izzie would come home from work everyday telling so many new stories about her day; they were all so crazy and exciting so it convinced me to work there as well and I am so glad I did. Even though I have only worked there for a short amount of time, I have made many memories with the children and staff; I looked forward to coming into work every afternoon to see the regular kids and formed such a strong bond with many of them and my sister can say the same. Having to see Challengers put up an emergency appeal is heartbreaking as we know how much this charity means to parents and children, in many cases this is their lifeline so losing it would be devastating. Therefore, we are walking 14 miles from our home in Camberley to Challengers Guildford on Monday the 27th of April which will roughly take 5 hours! We are asking for anyone to donate some money towards our fundraiser to please help save Challengers.
