In the 80's my father Dr Chris Booth founded a centre for the elderly that relies greatly on donations including the annual charity walk.
I am taking part in the annual charity walk on 11th June 2023 towards raising money for the Minchinhampton Centre for the Elderly. I will be one of many walkers that will do a ten mile walk around what was once my father, Dr Chris Booth's, practise and was where he spent his final days.
I have set a target of £200. The campaign will take donations after 11th June but please, if you can, donate before that date.
Anything you can contribute towards helping me achieve my target will be massively appreciated.
Thank you.
Dr. Chris Booth first had the idea to build a centre for the elderly in Minchinhampton in the early 80’s. Today they boast a 44 bed Nursing Home, a vibrant Day Centre and Home Care provision.
They deliver outstanding care for both the physically infirm and those living with dementia and severe memory problems as well as offering Palliative Care, Respite and Short Breaks. Every area of the home has been designed and built with residents and visitors in mind, with the aim of making the transition into care as easy and stress free as possible.
