Wakefield Community Pride 2026

Aim

Wakefield Community Pride takes place on Sunday 9th August 2026 and we need your help to make it happen!

LonGBoaT Wakefield CIO run annual Pride events and year-round activities in the Wakefield District. This year, we're asking for the support of the community to make this year's celebration bright and amazing. 

We've already got the venue booked but we need funds for other activities on the day including family-friendly crafts, health and wellbeing, not to mention our fantastic stage. This is where you come in!

We want Wakefield Community Pride 2026 to be an inclusive, community-driven event, and we hope the community will support it. 

Your donation will:

• Support artists to perform on the stage
• Purchase materials and create activities for families to enjoy
• Allow us to promote the event as widely as possible
• Cover operational expenses that come from putting on an event like this

When we say every donation helps, we really mean it. Community prides like ours don't have huge budgets and rely on volunteers to run. You can help make Wakefield Community Pride 2026 sparkle with just a small donation.

And, remember, LonGBoaT Wakefield CIO delivers socials and activities throughout the year. We're here to stay.
