Aim
We would like to continue and expand opening our community space to offer a warm hub to people Who are struggling due to the cost of living
Who are we?
We are a registered charity who aims to alleviate poverty, loneliness and isolation in our community..
We are open to anyone in the community no matter their age, race, disability we are an inclusive organisation.
Why are we crowdfunding?
Due to the cost of living crisis we are seeing a huge demand in our service, we are hoping we can meet the demand by increasing our opening times offering a warm space. We are also seeing an increase in our energy costs which will increase further if we open longer.
How we’ll spend the money raised
The money will be used to facilitate the opening of our community space additional hours, towards, volunteer expenses, heating costs, room rental and food so that we can offer a hot snack such as soup /toastie etc.
Materials such as wool, and crafting items, other essential items like mugs, cutlery etc.
