Hi! We are Jess, James, and Noah. We are leaving the country soon, so we are putting our beloved van in a prize draw.
Have you ever wanted to own a campervan, but just cant afford the up front cost? That was us too. but eventually we managed to create this beautiful T4 camper, and it has changed our lives completely. Adventure is literally sitting on the driveway, and traveling costs only a fraction of what it used to. No more booking rooms, worrying about check in and check out times, eating out, and whatever else. Just pack up and go! We want somebody else to have the chance as well.
The prize is our beautiful 1998 VW T4 Transporter, with a factory fitted high top roof.

The camper conversion includes:
Off grid amenities: full kitchen set up with water, gas, and electric (12V only when not on EHU).
100Ah leisure battery with 100w solar panel. This simple set up runs all onboard electrics with no issues and we never need to charge it any other way.
Power management system allows switching between leisure and starter battery, mains charging, 240v use when plugged into mains.
Electric system installed to high standard
Fiamma 28cm roof vent with turbo fan
Whale submersible water pump with adjustable pressure to tap
Vitrifrigo 42L compressor fridge.
2 ring burner hob and gas locker to hold 3.9kg LPG gas. Gas installed using rigid copper pipe

Thetford porta potti chemical toilet
Pullout bed system; stows away as day bed/lounger and pulls out to become a full size double bed with reading light.
Large storage space under bed.

Beautiful interior, not your average T4 campervan.

ABOUT THE VAN:
2.4d engine. This is the largest on the non-turbo engines made for the T4s and are well known for their reliability.
Factory fitted high-top roof. Factory fitted high-top roofs are rare in the world of T4s, and sought after. No annoying pop top. Just stand up straight!
,T4s are notorious for being rusty but that isn't the case with this van as it has been under sprayed since it's early days. Engine has done 138,000 miles. When looked after these engines go to 300,000 and beyond. Recent work done:
Brand new timing belt, gearbox, clutch and dual mass flywheel. Water pump change less than a year ago.
Full service history and servicing also available.
We got this van last year with the intention of converting it and having it for many years and going on many great adventures. However, we have recently felt the calling to leave the country and pursue an opportunity elsewhere. The van, therefore has to go and we want a to do a prize draw so more people have the chance to experience the joys of traveling in a van like we did. The money that we raise will go towards recovering the money we spent converting it. Anything we make over the target will be split between two charities. Okehampton Community kitchen feeds people in need in Okehampton, Devon, the town that hosted us while we were in the UK. Creative Saint Helena is a charity that provides music and arts lessons, classes, and activities for people of all ages on St. Helena.
