We're still collecting donations
On the 7th April 2022 we'd raised £450 with 7 supporters in 49 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

The pandemic has shown the need for art to be available from people’s living rooms. Not everybody can or wants to go to a public space to consume art. Virtual Reality is the perfect medium for immersive art experiences that can be experienced at home, using ones own VR headset. Wireless headsets are now available on the home market for about £ 300, and still getting cheaper. This way, the user can take as much time as they like exploring the VR experience on offer.
VR as a platform has been widely embraced by the gaming industry but also offers exciting new possibilities for artists. For this project I will create three audiovisual graphical scores to be experienced in Virtual Reality. These will be made available as freely downloadable apps and 3D videos will be shared online for those without a headset. For those interested it will also be possible to come and visit my studio and experience the graphical scores there on my Quest2 wireless headset.
For this project I will be making both handmade drawings in 2D and digital drawings in 3D. The project is a collaboration with Prof Nick Collins who will do some of the creative coding.
I have already made some of the hand-drawn drawings that will be incorporated in the graphical VR scores. These are available as high-quality digital prints on fine art paper as some of the rewards offered for this Crowdfunder.
