Help save our Vegan fast food business!

Aim

The aim of this crowdfunder is to keep our doors open, and pay staff wages. Coronavirus has not been kind to our shop, and we need help.

Three and a half years ago, I started serving and delivering Vegan food to all of East Dulwich on a pushbike. And now I have a shop in Peckham and Milton Keynes for delivery service. I joined Deliveroo and Uber eats, serving customers while I had a newborn baby and a 1 year old. It was a really strenuous and testing time. It was like juggling vegan food and babies!

But for three years, I have made it work. I finally made the decision to open a shop in Peckham so I could serve our customers in person, and move away from Delivery services as their commission charges were extortionate.

Unfortunately due to Covid restrictions, The shop has not been allowed walk-ins, despite having hefty rents and overheads to pay. (That's london for you!)

Along with our london store, Milton Keynes (Run by my sister) has an absolutely amazing following, and very satisfied and loyal customers. However, with the country opening up (Parks, Pubs, etc.) we are not recieving enough to support the staff wages and overheads in our Milton Keynes area. It's a really big shame, our reviews and feedback on our food have been outstanding. We were hoping to bring our new and exciting products to Milton Keynes, however in light of our recent situation, we will have to close down altogether.

Due to the government not allowing walk-ins, and Milton Keynes having a reduction in orders, it has affected our business greatly. I have a number of staff who rely on me to feed their families, and i'm uncertain how much longer I can employ them.

Along with these restrictions, our shop is located in the new Peckham Marketplace, which is undergoing a rebrand, and reconstruction. This is making it difficult for delivery riders and customers to find us, as we are still working in a construction zone. 

With your support, we are hoping to be able to stand strong in a really difficult climate, serving our fantastic vegan fried chicken and delicious milkshakes. 

This is really our last chance to continue serving outstanding Vegan fast food to all our customers who have been here since the beginning. We are eternally grateful for all your support and to those who have pledged. These funds will bring our vegan business back to life, so we can continue our goal for a meat-free future.
