Support the VPDFO Festival Ukraine

Aim

Putin is 70 on Oct 7th. Help us fund the VPDFO! festival: Vladimir Putin: Do F**k Off! Profits will go to Ukrainian charities.

October 7th is Vladimir Putin’s birthday. They may celebrate that in the Kremlin but in Kyiv on October 7th, 8th and 9th we’re staging VPDFO! That stands for Vladimir Putin: Do F**k Off! It’s a celebration of all things Ukrainian: music, comedy, fashion, cuisine and journalism, story-telling, poetry, on-line and for real. The festival venue is a secret, for now.  

Our goal is to poke Vladimir Putin in the eye with a stick on his birthday, to raise money for Ukrainian charities and have a laugh and sometime a cry. The money from the crowdfunder will kick-start the festival and profits will go to a basket of Ukrainian humanitarian charities – not defence. (The accounts will be transparent and will be published in due course.) 

The VPDFO website sets out all the details, how you can buy tickets to watch our events being live-streamed. If you want to, the website shows how you can donate to Ukrainian defence too.  But the Crowdfunded profits will go exclusively to Ukrainian charities. 

If you can, bung us a quid, dollar, euro, more if you can spare it. 

If you do back VPDFO! the Kremlin won’t like it.
