Get Vix elected as first MP for Isle of Wight East

2024 is going to be a critical year for the UK and the world. We have an important opportunity to get a batch of new MPs elected to Westminster - MPs who live, work and understand the communities in which they live.

The Isle of Wight is set to be split into 2 constituencies - and we will have a rare chance to select an MP who better represents the people of the island. The new constituency of Isle of Wight East is one to watch.

Vix works hard as a teacher in an island school, doing the best that she can within the current education system and funding crisis. Outside of this time she is a local councillor and volunteers for a number of organisations (carnivals, historical, events). Bringing up 3 boys on the Isle of Wight she understands the challenges that our young people face.

Since 2015, motivated by the urgency to tackle the climate crisis whilst balancing the needs of the population, Vix has stood in elections for the Green Party on the island and has risen the Green vote from 900 to over 12,000 votes in 2017. She has served as the national spokesperson for Education and Lifelong Learning for eight years, and sat on the national executive as the party as Policy Development Coordinator for three years. She's ready for the national stage and is ambitious for the Isle of Wight.

The Green Party is not funded by big business or organisations. The Isle of Wight Green Party is reliant *entirely* on individual donations from people like yourself. Without these donations, there's just no funding for their campaigns.
