Aim
The Green Party in Central Bedfordshire is aiming to raise funding for Kate Hill-Lines' campaign for the Stotfold by-election
Kate Hill-Lines’ Campaign for Stotfold
The Green Party in Central Bedfordshire is raising funds to support Kate Hill-Lines' campaign in the upcoming Stotfold by-election.
This is a fantastic opportunity to elect a Green councillor who will stand up for our community and environment.
Kate is a long-time Stotfold resident, professional artist, and qualified horticulturalist with a particular interest in biodiversity and climate change. She believes local councils can play a key role in supporting nature recovery, sustainable land use, and greener neighbourhoods that benefit everyone.
She also brings valuable experience from her work in the care sector with adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs, and is committed to making Stotfold a more inclusive and supportive place to live.
Kate is running because she cares deeply about Stotfold’s future and believes the community deserves a strong, green voice to represent Stotfold on the Central Bedfordshire Council.
Her key campaign priorities are:
✅ Protecting our green spaces and fighting overdevelopment
✅ Better transport choices and safer cycling
✅ Action on climate change, flood resilience and nature recovery
✅ Sustainability at the heart of local decisions

As a party entirely funded by its members, with no commercial or union support, raising money for campaigns is an ongoing challenge. This fundraiser is to provide funding for promotional materials and other campaign expenses. Any surplus will be recycled into other future campaigns by the Green Party in Bedfordshire.
So please be as generous as you can and donate to Luton & Bedfordshire Green Party to ensure that the residents of Stotfold have the option to vote for an independent minded, hard working champion of the environment and social justice.
Thank you
Gareth Ellis
P.S. BECAUSE WE ARE A POLITICAL PARTY
We are required to run electoral checks from people making donations above £500, and if you donate over £1,500 during a year, we are required to let the Electoral Commission know, who will make this available on their website. All donations go to the general Green Party funds.
