Vote Bea for Women’s Equality in the Exeter City Council elections on 6 May
I’d like to thank everyone who has contributed so generously to this crowdfunder. We still have a little way to go, so if you have the capacity to put in even a small amount, it would really be appreciated.
During the pandemic there has been an increasing awareness of inequality. Women have borne the brunt of the extra work; and we have seen a staggering increase in violence against women and girls. There is no voice on Exeter City Council that speaks up for equality - it’s time for this to change. If you vote for me I will make sure that gender inequality is addressed so that it is properly understood and put right. A contribution to my election fund will help ensure that we are able to distribute leaflets to people in the Duryard and St James ward where I’m standing; it doesn’t need to be much (though I wouldn’t say no to a large donation either!) and you can be sure it will be used carefully and to best effect.
The Women‘s Equality Party is a new collaborative force in British politics, uniting people of all genders, ages, backgrounds, ethnicities and beliefs in the shared determination to make equality a reality so that all can flourish. See more at www.womensequality.org.uk
