Volunteering in Malawi

Travel and accommodation expenses for a 9 day volunteering trip to support Open Arms Malawi. Building a nursery and caring for the orphans

Open Arms Malawi is a charity that supports orphans and vulnerable children in the country through building nursery schools and looking after the children in a healthy loving environment. I am fortunate enough to be going to support this incredible cause for 9 days by helping to build and maintain a nursery during my visit as well as looking after the children.

In order for me to go I need to donate £1600 to cover the costs of my travel, accommodation and to help fund the charity with its vital work. I have until the end of March to collect the funds together. So how can you help? I’m selling off lots of things in my home ( mostly craft stuff) to raise money, doing odd jobs, selling cards, baking cakes etc. But if you can spare some spondoodlies to help me on my journey I would be eternally grateful.

My employer is matching the £1600 with a donation directly to the charity so you’re donation will go even further.
