Over the last couple of weeks Mitchell’s Miracles have been thinking of ways in which we could reach families of a child fighting neuroblastoma in Ukraine, whilst they are going through the devastation whilst trying to flee the very place, they should have felt safe and a place they once called their home, but has now become a war zone.
We have emailed a couple of major international charities in the hope of getting some information of how many families have a child fighting Neuroblastoma in Ukraine in which we are waiting on updates. Our beneficiaries Young Lives Vs Cancer are also going to work with us on bringing the families of a child with Neuroblastoma, who have recently been flown over to the UK and direct them to our charity for financial and emotional support.
If you hadn’t already seen the BBC news last week, it filmed a mum and her little girl who has Neuroblastoma, who was having to sleep in a bathtub in the basement for safety, and on top of their heartbreak, they were unable to receive her chemotherapy medicines of chemotherapy.
These poor families and children are already fighting the biggest battle of their lives of cancer, they certainly didn’t need to be surrounded by a Battlezone.
Our charity operates across the UK to support families of a child with Neuroblastoma with financial and emotional support, and this has been extended to support all Refugee Ukrainian families of a child with Neuroblastoma.
If you would like to get involved with making a donation big or small, this would make such a huge difference.
