To create a Warm Bank for local elderly and isolated people who are choosing to either heat or eat in these difficult times.
We are an arts and community charity and profits raised from performances and fundraising are ploughed back into the community to help vulnerable, elderly and isolated people of all ages as well as providing arts access for free to children of low income families.

Formed in 2007 VML has gone on to collaborate with many community groups to help local people as well as running many projects of their own. In Halton, everyone knows someone who has been helped by VML, be that in the arts or in wellbeing sessions and Big Sings for older people.
Like all charities VML is struggling to cope with the fall out from Covid but also the cost of living crisis. People are more selective about where they spend their money in terms of donations. The Friends sessions have always been popular and are needed now more than ever as people are shivering in their own homes in one of the poorest areas, statistically, in the country
The money will be spent on rental space and heating but also on food and refreshments to make sure people are getting something warm inside. We will provide crafting materials also to keep local people occupied. We will even provide travel expenses for people on low income who struggle to get to us.
