Aim

To bring the only British designed and built electric GT Sports vehicle to market

We intend to purchase the IP and design rights to the Vortex GT and its brand. Convert, with the support of the launch team's knowledge, experience and current businesses to EV. We will modernise the exterior and interior design for a MK1 to launch Q2 2023

The business will be a specialist in low volume, high quality British built sports cars. taking the IP and manufacturing templates of an already existing kit car form and bringing it in to high end full production. The car will be hand built by coach builders and engineers in the North East - which is an emerging hub of EV technology development lead by Nissan and it's supply chain. We have Head of Terms in place with exclusivity on the shares until the end of 2022.

The current vehicle was penned by a group of Jaguar Land Rover engineers as their "perfect car", and has hints of Jaguar XJ220, Mclaren and Porsche. With a current championship leading race team the car has race heritage in its design and engineering, and we believe with the right amount of tasteful updating, and improved build quality the car can be a hit - especially as it will be the only British built EV GT Coupe available.

We have partnered with some big hitters in the local supply chain and our team have global connections and route to market

With the rapid development of the EV car market over the last few years, and because of this the reduction in the cost of component parts, general EV ownership has gone through the roof.

As a result, with the cost of ownership coming down there is the emerging market of the "weekend car" conversion to electric.

There is a booming market for conversions of classic cars, and even building classic cars from scratch with EV running gear - for example a new MG B can be built with EV propulsion and will cost circa £100k.

The project will be placed to the lower end of the new prestige car market as we accept we won't be able to challenge on volume and in our early stages will need to be able to gain exposure.

There are a number of the kit cars (around 15) that have been built since 2012. The current operation is ran as a hobby by the engineers that built it.

One customer has also converted one to car to electric himself - which we have bought - firstly to understand how the car behaves, secondly the options that have been fitted to the car, and thirdly it will allow us to launch the prototype and gain sales earlier.  This car was a DIY project however, and all of the architecture will be replaced.

Two of the team also work in the automotive industry - one restoring classics, and the other exporting luxury cars to Asia by appointment. A number of the customers already dealing with us have shown interest in the car

We want to be a leader in new motoring practices and bring credibility back to the British sports car.

We are targeting 6 units sold in year one, building to 10 and onwards in year two and aim to offer a fully bespoke, tailored offering and exceptional one on one customer experience.
