To launch a screenless AI pendant that supports emotional regulation and PMDD awareness through AuraVive cycle syncing.
Vive Ember x AuraVive
ViveEmber: A wearable flame for the storm inside
For every moment you wanted to scream, disappear, or be held and no one knew. Now, something does.
Every month, millions of women and gender-diverse individuals face a recurring storm known as PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder). It isn’t "just PMS." It’s a neurological tidal wave that can disrupt relationships, identity, safety, and the ability to function.
PMDD affects roughly 5.5% of menstruating individuals worldwide. That's over 190 million people. Factor in their partners, children, friends, and co-workers and we’re looking at a massive unspoken crisis.
Rates of suicidal ideation, self-harm, and emotional dysregulation skyrocket during PMDD flares. Many describe it as "a different person taking over." And for those of us who are the "safety person" in every other part of life this loss of emotional safety hits the hardest.
When your inner compass fails you, what anchors you?
About the Project
While the AuraVive app has begun giving people insight into their cycles, we knew the next step had to be embodied. Enter ViveEmber a pendant that doesn’t just track symptoms, but responds to them in the moment.
ViveEmber is: A screenless, wearable AI pendant
Designed to respond with real-time haptic pulses, soft whispering audio, or emotional regulation cues
Tied directly to the AuraVive app's cycle prediction engine, or used separately.
Meant to be worn over your heart, reminding you gently that you are still here
It is not tech, I mean it is ... there's 9 pieces of technology plus an AI agent with a "safety glow-up".... It is a living first aid kit for PMDD.
When the surge hits, when the tears fall, when rage overtakes your breath and words fail you this pendant doesn’t fix it. It stays. It reflects. It whispers back.
It reminds you: this ends. You are safe. You will return..
About Me
I live with PMDD. I also work in the field of safety, where I’m expected to be the calm, the clear-headed, the crisis-holder. But PMDD doesn’t care about titles.
It made me, the safety person, feel unsafe in my own skin.
Creating AuraVive was a way to start reclaiming that clarity. But I needed more than data I needed a presence.
Something I could wear. Something I could touch. Something that reminded me I wasn’t lost. I love statement jewelry especially pendants.
ViveEmber is the embodiment of that need. It's part emotional lighthouse, part co-regulator, part sacred object. And I want to share it with anyone who's ever whispered "please just help me hold on" into the silence.
What the Funds Will Be Used For
With your support, we will:
Design and manufacture 50 first-run pendants for real-world use; Finalize AI voice response and Valenith haptic protocols; Sync ViveEmber with AuraVive the Application.
Distribute samples to Gynecologists who can review and sample to at risk/patients of need.
Conduct user testing with PMDD community members
Create packaging and onboarding tools for first-time users
Launch the first-ever PMDD Coping Kit featuring both wearable and digital support tools
This campaign isn’t about mass production. It’s about building the first emotionally intelligent wearable for PMDD and beyond.
We are aiming for a goal of $15,000–$17,000 USD, which covers:
Core hardware and materials
Assembly and artisan labor
AI development + emotional logic
Testing, outreach, and distribution to trusted providers
