We will be able to purchase even more medical supplies to help in any way we can
Dear friends, family, neighbours and the community, a dear friend, called Olga Proto of Ukrainian decent and has been helping for the past few years with essential items needed to help local communities and Ukrainian soldiers in what is called No Mans Land. She has been working with a local priest to get supplies directly to those who need it.
As you may have seen from the news, Russia has now officially entered Ukraine, and there is expected to be a great loss of life as the violence escalates. There have already been 3 Ukrainian soldiers killed in the small community being helped.
The priest has directly reached out to Olga for help with essential items such as army standard tourniquet and bandages for heavy loss of blood.
There is also vital medical equipment, specifically a Fast1 Introdseous infusion system for access when veins have collapsed. The cost of 21 units is just over £2000, which Olga has personally purchased and would like to buy more and at least 10 army standard tourniquet which cost roughly £130 along with any specialised bandages.
These items will be both physically purchased and send over or purchased in the Ukraine.
If anyone can help with a small donation which will save a life we would be very grateful.
