Our aim is to keep the RCT family alive, well and still feeling the theatrical love during this crisis.
The global COVID-19 pandemic has created a very uncertain landscape for millions of us, which is going to make it very challenging for businesses, including community interest companies such as ours to survive.
RCT – REMOTE ACCESS: VIRTUAL CHICKENS!
We know how much everyone will miss their RCT pals and that lots of you, potentially all of us shortly, will be stuck at home. To keep us all busy, we’re running daily video activities from a range of RCT people on a myriad of different themes – drama games, costume challenges, techy stuff from the tech boys, singing challenges – a whole host of different stuff. We’re hoping people will get involved, post their efforts, chat and just generally stay in touch with the rest of the RCT family and the world of performing arts.
These are difficult times for us all – we’ll not really know the impact on RCT for a long while, but now more than ever the arts and the joy and confidence they bring is so important. Lots of you have asked how you can help: keep our social media going, use it to chat, watch our videos, join in the activities.
I am hugely concerned that we may not survive this - it's unclear currently what, if any, support we might get from governmen. We love being at the heart of performing arts in Dunblane, it would break my heart if we weren’t. If you are able to help us keep going it would mean so much to all our chickens, young and old.
We fully appreciate these are difficult finanacial times for many of us, but if you are able to donate, or use our online activities and feel able to the cost you might have spent on drama, or MT or whatever, then it is hugely appreciated!
