Virgin High Alps 2022

Aim

Have fun, do good!

Never one to resist a challenge over 4 days I will be walking from Chamonix in France to Verbier in Switzerland.

This 40mile route will include over 10,000 feet of climbing as we cross the High Alps. For those that are interested, I have posted each days route and elevation chart in the updates.

I am doing this in support of the Virgin Atlantic Foundation (VAF)

VAF raises money for projects in the UK and overseas under the ‘Passport to Change’ programme.

The 4 charity partners are:

Speakers for Schools: Supporting Schools to inspire young people into STEM (Science, Tech, Engineering and Maths)

UNHCR:  Focussing on supporting refugees with learning and scholarships in STEM

Smallpeice: Trust focussing on scholarships in STEM

Save the Children: Supporting donations to help crises around the world
