Finally!

At last!

It's coming!

A new re-collection of my comics work in one place!

Collecting 90+ pages of short comics that have appeared scattered all over the place. It will combine my 2 smaller short story books (from 2009 and 2012) plus - this is the big news - 20 new pages of work created for this book.

The older comics have been printed in magazines, zines, books & newspaper around the world & have been out of print for many years but I've decided to collect all the best stuff into one definitive collection.

I've always adored the zine aesthetic and I want to use it with this book. It's full of crazy energy with totally wild stories ranging from 1 to 14 pages in length.

Vintage collects older stories about Ping Pong, Vikings, Zen, belly button fluff, Mexican goat gods and more!

Please pre-order a copy of this book. It's totally mad. It's cheap too!

I will be working on the new comics and a bookplate over the next few months (between freelance and other book work) so my aim is to have the book printed by mid Oct 2025

The freshly made bookplate:

Praise for all my work (illustrated reportage, kids book, illustrated novel and comics):

‘Deceptively intelligent and exceptionally moreish.’ - Charlie Brooker

‘With his beautiful illustrations and incisive words, David is one of the most important cartoonists working today.’ - David Squires, Guardian cartoonist

‘It’s the gentle warmth of Greene’s approach that gives these stories their unexpected power; the understated humaneness of watching and listening and composing these snapshots of modern public political life.’ - Samira Ahmed, BBC Front Row

'Greene’s illustrations seep into the reader’s consciousness emotions of surprise, disappointment, confusion, ignorance, bewilderment, pain, starvation, triumph, hope, love and more.' - thekidsbookscurator.com

'David Greene's work is cleverly observed & executed' - Ian Hislop, Editor of Private Eye Magazine

'This is a gorgeously illustrated story about a criminal conspiracy that involves a bag of prunes, animal masks and a hole on a golf course. With minimal dialogue, it looks great and has a really funny turn to its ending. ' - downthetubes.net

Okay, that's enough. You must be convinced by now!
