Aim
Our current stage is temporary and unsuitable for most music and theatre productions. We are seeking to build a permanent stage.
Hevingham Village Hall is a great hire venue for weddings and parties but also primarily for community events. The village hall committee is seeking to upgrade the hall's potential to include music shows and amateur dramatic performances. This will give local community groups greater scope to put on events and also to participate in local level performances.
Building a new stage to certain specifications will cost circa £5K. As the village hall is a charity and works mainly to maintain the building, there are limited funds for upgrades. The 'how' is already in place. We just need the 'with what money?'.
