The Allsports Coaches Coaching Academy CIC comprises a dedicated team of enthusiastic volunteers. Our mission involves collaborating with veterans, blue light service personnel, and their families. Our primary goal is to equip them with the necessary qualifications to excel as sports coach practitioners, while also providing vital assistance in navigating their own mental health challenges. Our efforts extend to diverse initiatives, including a community project focused on mental health and well-being, as well as fostering employment prospects through partnerships with organizations like AFC Telford United Foundation, schools and communities across Telford & Wrekin and Shropshire.

Our approach is to use the power of sport, mental health awareness, and teaching support to engage children & young people and improve their health, well-being and academic outcomes. 

By offering training to become a fully qualified sports coach practitioner which includes multi sports level 2 qualification, mental health awareness training and teaching assistant qualifications with SEN training. Our team of sports coach practitioners are able to support schools and communities to deal with the mental health crisis currently swarming the education sector and communities.

Regrettably, since the pandemic schools and society has witnessed a concerning statistic:    1 in 4 children are now grappling with anxiety and mental well-being struggles and or understanding. By training and mentoring, including CPD programmes we are able to build a team of highly trained coaches who can support schools and communities, providing the much needed support to teachers in the education sector and at the same time creating a social impact.
