Hi, my name is Dan, and I’ve been running my own property maintenance business for years. Like many hardworking tradesmen, I’ve experienced the ups and downs of finding steady, reliable work. I’ve used the big-name platforms like Checkatrade, Rated People, and the rest, and quickly realised a major problem: lock-in contracts, high fees, and no real guarantee of work.

I thought to myself—Why should we, the people doing the work, be tied into long-term contracts just for the chance of a lead? Why should we pay big commissions on jobs that might not even go ahead?

That’s where TradesVerified was born.
