We're still collecting donations
On the 23rd October 2020 we'd raised £3,810 with 64 supporters in 28 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
We are raising funds to purchase a Veo Sports Camera to benefit all the teams within Stafford Town Football Club
by Stafford Town Football Club in Stafford, England, United Kingdom
On the 23rd October 2020 we'd raised £3,810 with 64 supporters in 28 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
Training equipment, kit, clothing and medical supplies are just some of the things that need replacing from time to time. If we are able to exceed our camera funding target we will look to freshen up some of the older equipment. We'd also like to replace the tannoy system and speakers at Evans Park.
The mens 1st Team within the club have recently benefitted from recording their games and some training sessions albeit it on a rather dated handheld camera. We rely on someone to not only hold the camera with a steady hand but it also takes several hours to edit the raw footage. More and more clubs have been investing in a Veo sports camera which utilises the latest technology to follow the ball automatically without requiring a person to control things.
Take a look here for more information on how it works;

As well as recording matches for use on social media the camera will also be used to record training sessions giving both players and coaches feedback on performance and progress.
Please get behind what we are trying to do and pledge whatever you are able to assist with this extremely useful piece of kit that everyone associated with the club can benefit from.
We are a community club that looks long term and tries to grow organically. If you aren't attractive players via a budget then personal development through quality coaching is key and this camera will significantly help the development of players and coaches alike across all the clubs teams including the men's, ladies and youth.
