Velocity trailer and equipment appeal

Aim

Replacement of trailer and equipment that have been stolen from a not-for-profit sports club.

Velocity is a non-profit gymnastics & trampoline club serving Billingham and the surrounding Teesside area. We have over 600 participants each week ranging from young children in our pay & play sessions through to adults and from complete beginners to national level competitors. Local schools and charities regularly use our facility to help local young people including a local primary school, a charity supporting autistic children, a charity assisting the visually impaired and a charity supporting premature babies and their families.

Unfortunately, on the evening of 20th February, our trailer was stolen. Thieves cut through the wheel locks and the hitch lock and removed the trailer along with its contents - gymnastics equipment including some Box-top Vaults. Unfortunately our insurers won't cover it because it is considered a vehicle and our reserved have been hugely depleted by COVID19 closures.

The trailer was used to transport gymnastics and trampoline equipment around the North of England and we have used it to increase the reach of our club. I would be fantastic if the trailer and its contents is returned however we are asking for your help to replace it. We would like to replace the trailer, improve the security of the storage location and purchase rebound gymnastics equipment to replace what was stolen.

If the trailer is returned the money would be used to make the storage area more secure and purchase equipment.
