Opening a 100% vegan shop in Shrewsbury

Aim

We want to spread the word about veganism in Shrewsbury and help local vegan businesses through setting up a 100% vegan shop.

We are Debbie and Michelle - the The Two Vegans. We are both committed to spreading the vegan message and we do this through our partnership - The Two Vegans. We already run 2 vegan fairs a year and attend events giving out vegan information and encouraging people to try vegan food.

Our next step is to re-open The Vegan Hub so that we can help people access a wide range of vegan products.  This shop was previously run by Michelle in Wellington Market and sold a wide range of vegan products and was a place where people could come to get advice about veganism.

We have found a suitable shop in The Parade in Shrewsbury Town Centre where we will sell a range of vegan groceries, accessories and gifts. We particularly want to stock items from local vegan companies to encourage small businesses to continue to produce animal friendly items.

However, in order to open this shop we need your help.  As you can see in the pictures below, the unit we are going to rent needs a lot of work to turn it into a wonderful vegan shop. We need to completely fit it out and then fill it with amazing products for you to buy.  

We are aware not everyone is in a financial position to be able to support us, but even the smallest donation can really help, and if that isn’t possible we would appreciate it if you could share our crowdfunder as widely as possible.

Let’s work together to make Shrewsbury the place to come for everything vegan.
