Vans Without Borders is a humanitarian organisation that has assisted thousands of Ukrainians in need across the war-torn nation since April 2022.
We have delivered hundreds of tonnes of humanitarian aid through dozens of missions and seven articulated lorry deliveries.
In addition to directly supporting areas devastated by Russia, we have partnered with various organisations that aid individuals, including children in hospices, groups supporting children with Down syndrome and autism, retirement homes, and hospitals that have been left without assistance due to the conflict.
This winter, we aim to continue our mission in Ukraine by sending more large trucks filled with aid, as well as supplying refugees and organisations that support vulnerable Ukrainians.
The cost to cover an articulated truck to send up to 20 tonnes of humanitarian aid to Ukraine, including fuel expenses for collection and delivery, is approximately £5,000.
Executing a mission to provide emergency food and clothing aid to hundreds of Ukrainian villagers across the frontline costs between £5,000 to £10,000. We strive to allocate around £30 per person for our aid packages, which include food and sanitary products. Additional costs involve vehicle maintenance and fuel.
We aim to be as transparent as possible about costs, and if you have any questions about our work please don't hesitate to email us at: [email protected]
Similarly, if you would like to sponsor a specific project then please do get in touch.
Ultimately, our humanitarian efforts this winter will depend on our fundraising success. We urge you to give generously, as you have always done, so we can continue to make a significant impact in Ukraine.
Thank you for your continued support.
