My name is Adam Heads, and I am the founder of Vanguard Valeting LTD. Alongside running my business, I proudly serve as a full-time member of HM Armed Forces. Service has taught me the values of discipline, integrity, hard work, and commitment—qualities that I bring to every aspect of my business.

Vanguard Valeting LTD was born from a passion for professional vehicle care and a desire to build something of my own. As an IDA Certified Detailer (CD-SV), I have invested significant time and money into developing my skills and delivering a high standard of service. My goal has never simply been to clean cars; it has been to create a business built on trust, quality, and pride in workmanship.

Like many serving personnel, balancing military life with family responsibilities and a growing business presents its own challenges. My primary employment requires a considerable personal commitment, both in time and financially, leaving limited opportunities to invest in growing my business. At the same time, I am a father to young children, and providing for my family while pursuing my ambition requires careful balance and sacrifice.

Despite these challenges, I continue to invest every spare hour I can into Vanguard Valeting LTD. Early mornings, evenings, weekends, and annual leave have all become opportunities to build the business. Every customer, every qualification, and every piece of equipment has been another step towards the future I want to create.

My vision extends beyond offering premium valeting and detailing services. I want to build a sustainable local business that supports dealerships and private customers alike, while also creating opportunities for others through training and education. Through the planned Vanguard Academy, I hope to share professional vehicle care skills with enthusiasts, young people, and future employees, helping to raise standards within the industry and pass on knowledge to the next generation.

The support I am seeking is not simply to fund a business—it is to invest in a long-term vision. Additional funding would allow me to purchase specialist equipment, improve marketing, develop training programmes, and create the capacity to take on more work. Most importantly, it would help me bridge the gap between a dream built around family life and military service, and a sustainable business that can support my family and serve the local community.

I am not looking for someone to build my dream for me. I am already putting in the work, making the sacrifices, and taking the risks. I am looking for people who believe in hard work, determination, and the idea that with the right support, a small local business can grow into something lasting and meaningful.
