Hi, I’m Ifesinachi creative director and founder of a footwear company called Uufey.
OUR INSPIRATION
The inspiration of Uufey came from a deep passion for the love of shoes, yet the sad reality is that sometimes we can feel much pain from the same shoe we love so much. Uufey is a comfort stylish brand catering to individuals who have sensitive feet, flat feet, or plantar fasciitis.
We are impacting lifestyle, help us grow our business and be a part of the culture.
OUR JOURNEY
Our journey started in 2014 when I started suffering from pain in my foot. I researched the problem and discovered I was suffering from plantar fasciitis. I discovered that thousands of people suffer from this same pain but had limited footwear options to meet our needs. Uufey is creating a fashion brand that will be very comfortable, allowing you to wear your shoes for as long as you like and when taking off your shoes at the end of the day after a long-wear, stand or walk, your feet still feel well and painless. Our shoes would be very beneficial for individuals like our health workers who have been our hero's in these unprecedented times, working long hours on their feet, individuals in the hospitality industry, teachers looking after our children. We have you covered as we know and understand that being on your feet for a long period of time can be tough, we are you!

We want to make a difference and impact lives positively. We want to give everyone who wears Uufey a sense of confidence and comfort in their footwear.
Another key point about Uufey is that in the UK the NHS has advised on taking 150-300 minutes walk in the week. However, with a fallen arch, sensitive feet, or the wrong pair of shoes, it is almost impossible to achieve this basic health goal.
It will amaze you the difference the right pair of shoes can make to someone.

We are a company made up of talented creative freelancers, industry advisors, qualified entrepreneurs, and ethical professional manufacturers. With our richness in experience, we work together to produce comfortable shoes for the whole of the U.K and work in expanding our reach to the world for as many people to benefit from our shoes. We are equipped with the vital skills in production, customer service, business, and design to nurture the company to maturity. We are on a mission to create a lifestyle where our customers can wear our brand, feeling comfortable and pretty.

We seek to spur our customers to have a healthier lifestyle, in our little way by putting our customers first, considering details in the design, production, and manufacturing, improving our footwear comfort and encourage them to take the Health organizations recommended walks.
Sincerely, I always had the inspiration to build a shoe company, but I knew behind that dream I wanted something out of the regular. I wanted something better than what I saw available and what I was used to, not knowing at the time I had a need that needs more attention.
The moment I dived in and researched my sensitive feet and pain I had, it reawakened my why and I found my niche and this reassured my reason to make something better, knowing that I will benefit from the shoes and would be the first customer. It went beyond the idea for me, it is now a burning desire to make it a lifestyle, to build a community of individuals who wear Uufey feeling comfortable in themselves.
OUR HOW
Designs
We are committed to making aesthetic designs to meet current fashion trends. We believe we have started on the right foot to meet the first phase of this through our sample production and testing.
Quality
Our driving force is bringing high-quality comfortable footwear to our customers, and we are working with our experienced artisans to make this a reality.
Breathe
Our sizes are true to fit, not compromising the comfort of our customers. Our sizes have been created with our customers in mind, creating adequate space in the shoe for the foot to seat in well and wiggle around at the same time, in other words giving your feet a chance to breathe.
Empathy and Skill
We are building from a place of real-life experience and can relate to how our customers feel in the wrong pair of shoes. Therefore, for every single pair made we have you in mind and want you to have happy feet. Our skills in Entrepreneurship/business development and management, customer service, designs, and production will enable us to start upright in executing our strategies to meet our customer needs. As we grow and go along the way, we will expand our skills by bringing more experts on board.
We will not forget to carry our community along, collecting feedbacks and improving our designs based on request and feedbacks knowing fully well, the community is the reason we are where we are and the reason we will attain greater heights.
WHAT YOU ARE SUPPORTING
We are raising £8000 to complete payment for our supreme comfort collection and put in place the support for the manufacturers and buyers to create sustainable footwear. We have made and committed initial funds to begin production of our launch to bring the product to market and with your help, we can raise the balance needed to make our launch a reality. We have created six different styles to cater to different seasons
The money raised will allow us to continue working and build our community innovative, detailed, and beautiful (comfortable) footwear. At Uufey we want to be there when your feet feel uneasy, we want to be your number 1 footwear to meet your comfort needs and keep you going
We want to rise up from the COVID-19 crisis into a world where we can nurture and grow significant global links, and help communities and organisations (Health sectors) that have been hit hardest, making available a supreme comfort range that can be worn for longer hours.
Uufey is a lifestyle
As products get into the market, we would create more designs and produce more styles based on demand and preference.

Ifesinachi is the founder and creative director of Uufey. She is passionate about making positive impacts. She has her MSc in Entrepreneurship, mentors second year entrepreneurship students in University of Liverpool, and has vast experience in fashion and retail customer service.
