To carry out essential repairs to the clubhouse and changing facilities at Brockhampton Cricket Club and replace our ageing outfield mower.
Who Are We?
Founded in 1897, Brockhampton Cricket Club has been at the heart of our rural community in Herefordshire for more than 125 years.

Today, the club runs four senior league teams, a growing women’s section and provides coaching for more than 120 boys and girls every week. From Under-5s picking up a bat for the first time to senior players competing in league and county cricket, Brockhampton is a place where people of all ages come together through sport.

Run by volunteers, our club is more than just a cricket ground. It’s a place where friendships are formed, young people develop confidence and skills, and the local community gathers throughout the summer.

Why Are We Crowdfunding?
Recent storm damage and years of wear and tear mean that important parts of our facilities now need urgent attention.
Our clubhouse and shower facilities are used every week by players and visiting teams, but they are beginning to show their age and need urgent refurbishment. At the same time, our outfield mower is more than 25 years old and is close to the end of its working life.
Without replacing it soon, we risk not being able to maintain the outfield properly, which would affect training sessions, league matches and the many fixtures and events we host each season.
By raising funds now, we can carry out these essential improvements and ensure the club remains a safe, welcoming and well-maintained place for everyone who plays and visits.
How We Will Spend the Money Raised
Funds raised through this campaign will support three key improvements that are essential to keeping Brockhampton Cricket Club running for players and the wider community.
Recent storm damage has affected parts of our clubhouse and our shower facilities are now showing their age after many years of constant use. These areas are used weekly by players and visiting teams.
Funding will help us carry out necessary repairs to the building and refurbish the showers so they are clean, reliable and fit for regular use. These improvements will ensure the clubhouse continues to provide a welcoming and practical space for everyone who visits the club.

Our changing rooms are heavily used throughout the season by men’s, women’s and junior teams. After many years of service, they are now outdated and no longer reflect the needs of a growing, modern cricket club.
We want to improve these facilities so they are more comfortable, functional and welcoming for all players and visiting teams. Upgrading the changing rooms will help ensure our facilities support the continued growth of junior cricket and women’s cricket at the club.

A well-maintained outfield is essential for safe and enjoyable cricket. Our current mower is more than 25 years old and is nearing the end of its working life.
Replacing it will allow our volunteers to properly maintain the ground throughout the season, ensuring the outfield remains safe and playable for training sessions, league matches and community events hosted at the club.

Our Community Impact
Supporting this project will help protect cricket opportunities for more than 120 young players each week while supporting the continued growth of women’s and girls’ cricket at the club.

Improved facilities will benefit players, volunteers, visiting teams and spectators who spend time at the ground throughout the season.

Most importantly, your support will help secure the future of a club that has served the local community for generations and ensure that Brockhampton continues to be a place where people can play, learn and enjoy cricket together.
