The scale and severity of the assault on Ukraine by the Russian forces has created an urgent shortage of medical equipment. Simple equipment such as bandages and tourniquets can save lives. Thousands of people are injured every day and Ukraine in no way could have been prepared for this. We must stand with the people of Ukraine and give generously where it matters most.
I am well positioned to run this campaign as my only sibling is a volunteer medic and get my information from him, so it's sound. This route already works - the first shipment had left London on 1/3/22. The second shipment - 11/03/22. We have taken the second shipment ourselves and filled the van with close to a ton in weight of essential items for the Ukrainian refugees in Poland, donated by our local community (Christ Church School in Hastings and and East Sussex College Group). I received confirmation that it arrived in Kyiv 3 days later (14/03/22)
The shipping is coordinated with The Association of Ukrainians in Britain (London).
The provider DS Medical has given us a generous discount.
The invoice has been published on the project Facebook page.
Please help us save lives of Ukrainian people who are fighting for their lives, and for the way they want to live them - in freedom and democracy.
