We're still collecting donations
On the 8th January 2024 we'd raised £9,935 with 73 supporters in 56 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

If we have extra money left over we will purchase new mats
Phoenix Trampoline Club are a British Gymnastics registered club. Operating for 9 years and has approx 80 members per week.
Phoenix has experience of delivering trampolining classes for children from the age of 3, up to young adults, including special needs. Jane Cosgrove is a level 3.2 coach with 20 years experience, supported by 3 coaches. Our objective as a club is to offer classes for all.
We offer classes for both recreational classes and competitive squad.
Why do we need a new trampoline:
Our gymnasts are training on equipment which is aging and below competition standard.
We currently have 1 trampoline in good working order but with a non competition standard bed, and 1 trampoline that is very tired. We are fundraising to replace the latter. By purchasing a competition standard trampoline it will benefit the current participants but will also future proof the club. If our older trampoline was to fail us we would not be able to operate as we do now. As it stands now, our regional and national competitors are at a disadvantage each time we compete.
An up to date competition trampoline will ensure that our participants are being given the very best opportunities to reach their potential and we would expect to continue to attract further members.
We managed to survive Covid 19 by moving our strength and conditioning classes to Zoom, but our fees were greatly affected. Since Covid 19 we have been running various fundraising events to raise funds to keep our trampolines in good shape. Sadly we appear to be spending money more often, which is why we are now looking to replace our oldest trampoline.
If we were successful with fundraising, we would order with a trusted supplier. Discussions with sales and operations team at GymAid have shaped and influenced our operations plan, while ensuring we are meeting our local needs.
We would like to get the new trampoline installed and in action by March 2024 to ensure we give our competition squad the opportunity to practice before competition season (Feb 2024 to July 2024). The squad are currently competing regional level skills and with a new trampoline and a 4 x 4 bed we will be able to upgrade these.
When we first opened our doors in 2014, we had over 40% of children that were of age 11+, now in 2023 this continues to be the case with 38%. We are proud to attract children of this age when traditional sports see a drop
54% of our members live within a mile of the club, so we are very much community based club. The club is run from a college sports hall in heart of Langley, East Berkshire.
As a club we actively look to work with our local community, supporting local children with Dof E, GCSE's and A'levels.
There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!
2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!
4. Fundraise for us. If you want to run your own fundraiser – maybe a sponsored activity or similar – use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
