Aim

We've out grown our current premises, but we have a chance to move to a bigger premises and make what we do better, with a coffee shop!!

UPCYCLED CREATIVE is an award winning small business founded in 2012 in response to witnessing the sheer number of items that could have been recycled being thrown away. We set out to show that reclaimed items could be given a new lease of life whilst helping the environment.

One project led to another and Upcycled Creative was born. The business is based in the historic market town of Wirksworth in Derbyshire, one of the oldest towns in the Peak District and is still one of those with greatest character, it has many fine old buildings with picturesque alleys and craftsmen's yards.

Whether you’re visiting us at our studio, taking part in a workshop or browsing our online shop, we breathe new life into old as we upcycle reclaimed and recycled materials into functional designs. Every single piece of furniture and lighting we produce is special to us - even our off-the-shelf products are unique. 

Welcomed visitors browse our studio’s ever changing displays whilst fulfilling and dispatching orders to customers nationally and worldwide, now we have outgrown our current premises, but we want to stay within the community that we have become part of and love.

Now we need the help of you to move to the next stage and take the business to a completely new level...

We have the opportunity of a bigger premises which is currently a coffee shop, our vision is to combine both elements in an effort to educate everyone, relax with us, join us and take part in what we do...

The money raised from you will go towards many elements of this project which include:- used materials for decor, decorating, point of sale material, marketing, signage, coffee machine, crockery, cutlery... In addition to this, we are planning on offering more workshops to involve the local schools in the area and one on one workshops, a place to socialise for young and old as well as the opportunity to learn about the ethos of reusing and repurposing.

When we are successful with raising the funds we will also be looking at employing person/persons to work with us on a daily basis to promote what we do, engage with customers and help towards creating this vision we have...
