COMMUNITY SHARE FUNDRAISER APPEAL
🌿 Help Up The Garden Bath & UNITY
100 Local Businesses.
One Shared Vision.
Lasting Impact.
The Opportunity: Become a UNITY Community Share Partner
We are inviting 100 local businesses or individuals to help support our cause and contribute £250 each towards our educational and environmental community project.
This is not a donation.
This is a "Community Share" in a project that is actively reshaping how a high street can serve its people.
UNITY is:
• A collaborative retail space supporting local makers and small businesses.
• A community hub where thousands of people connect, learn, and grow.
• A place where anyone can access creativity, with free crafting and learning opportunities.
• A living example of how business and community can thrive together.
----------
Across Cambridgeshire, something extraordinary has been growing. Up The Garden Bath is not just an organisation, it’s a movement rooted in sustainability, creativity, and community. From transforming reclaimed bathtubs into thriving green spaces, to delivering hands-on workshops, to creating pathways into skills, confidence, and employment… our work reaches people where it matters most.
We support:
• Individuals facing isolation, unemployment, or disadvantage.
• Families looking for connection, creativity, and opportunity.
• Aspiring makers, artists, and entrepreneurs building something of their own.
Through projects like UNITY, Gardening Angels, and our wider community programmes, we are helping people to learn, earn, grow, and belong.
And the impact is real, already generating thousands of pounds for local people, creating opportunities, and building stronger, more connected communities across the region.

UNITY isn’t just a shop — it’s a movement.

By backing this campaign, you’re not just supporting UNITY — you’re investing in Cambridgeshire's economy, championing small businesses, and fuelling local opportunity.
We’re determined that with your support we can cover the ongoing costs of our projects, securing Up The Garden Bath’s and UNITY’S future, and allowing us to continue helping others to grow and connect.
This is your chance to be part of something monumental. This is your opportunity to support us in building a brighter future, where education, sustainability, and community thrive together.
UNITY isn’t just a shop. It’s a collaborative community hub, creative space, and social enterprise that supports hundreds of local businesses, families and individuals. Since opening in Queensgate in 2023:
• Over 250,000 people have visited UNITY.
• More than 30,000 families have accessed our FREE Create & Craft area.
• Dozens of volunteers have gained confidence, skills and pathways into employment.
• Sustainability, upcycling, and community pride in Cambridgeshire has been promoted.
🌱 About Up The Garden Bath
UNITY is proudly operated by Up The Garden Bath CIC, an award-winning social enterprise that educates, inspires, and empowers communities through sustainability and creative reuse.

We believe in turning waste into wonder. Our team rescues discarded bathtubs and upcycles them into unique, self-contained garden planters — transforming what would be landfill waste into vibrant, educational growing spaces.
So far, we’ve upcycled and installed over 80 of these distinctive planters across public areas, schools, community centres, and residential care homes throughout Cambridgeshire. Each one is a living classroom, helping children and adults learn about recycling, sustainability, food growing, biodiversity, and wellbeing.
From helping schools start kitchen gardens to brightening the courtyards of care homes, every project connects people with nature and fosters pride in their local environment.

And that’s where UNITY comes in.....
Every pound raised through the UNITY store and every sale made by our local makers — directly supports these community projects. Any surplus revenue from UNITY is reinvested into creating more upcycled garden installations, running more educational workshops, and empowering more communities to live sustainably.
🎯 Why We’re Crowdfunding
UNITY was created to give small local businesses a place to thrive — a high-footfall retail space in the heart of Queensgate where creativity meets commerce, and sustainability meets social purpose.

Your support will help us:
• Keep retail costs affordable for small traders and start-ups.
• Deliver more free community workshops and craft sessions for families.
• Fund additional community garden projects across Cambridgeshire.
• Continue educational visits and environmental learning sessions in schools.
🌍 Not a Hand-Out, But a Hand-Up
Every contribution — whether a sponsorship, corporate partnership, or individual donation — gives something back: brand visibility, community recognition, and the knowledge that your support is helping local people flourish.
Your backing doesn’t just keep UNITY thriving — it funds hands-on environmental education, upcycling innovation, and the transformation of communities across Cambridgeshire.
Individual Donations
Every single pound counts. Whether you can give £1 or take one of our Community Share sponsorship packages, every contribution helps our cause enormously, and even the smallest of donations goes a long way.
Your kind contribution will allow us to continue our projects and we really appreciate your support. (Please only donate to our cause if you are in a suitable financial position to do so).
