We're still collecting donations
On the 30th March 2021 we'd raised £1,730 with 24 supporters in 41 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

On the 30th March 2021 we'd raised £1,730 with 24 supporters in 41 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
The extra money will allow for more films beyond the first three so we can promote more great community causes in the South West, share more good news with you and celebrate more 'unsung heroes'. They deserve after all!
Unsung Heroes
A film project by Julian Freeman, Starsofwellbeing
There is a group of people in our community who are doing us all proud. Often they have had issues to deal with for themselves and their families that and that inspires them to help others. They do great work, helping others and improving the spaces and community for us all.
Since the Covid19 Pandemic started, in early 2020, these folks have come into come into their own, as the pressures of lockdown and living restrictions have affected us all.
I’m a social film maker and my passion is to bring messages that help people, both the subjects of the films and the viewers to show just what is possible for us all. Just seeing the great work and dedication that is here I’d love to create films for you that share:
These great people are truly unsung heroes and their amazing effort and dedication really makes a difference! They never respect any reward, but they have kind natures and are truly dedicated to helping others. They deserve a little help and you can do just that.
To celebrate these great members of our community, I am creating a number of short films for social media. Thats a great way to get the word out. Here is an example of a pilot film that was released over the New Year for a great little project to allow children and families with special needs to experience Santa’s Grotto.
It was all done with care to keep people safe, including social distancing, masks etc and it was great to share this wonderful time far and wide. I look forward to doing more. I’d love to make this into a series with a new film every month to keep the good news coming and help us through these challenging times, as best I can.
By supporting this crowdfunding we can make more films like this free of charge for the different initiatives and causes. Then you can take advantage of their assistance for your family and they can make even more of a difference. Everyone needs a bit of help in these challenging times, I’m sure you’ll agree
Everything you donate is being match funded which means that everything you donate will be doubled - such a great help! Thank you.
Finally a little more about me:
We need 20 people to donate to get things off the ground. Please join me in celebrating, supporting and enjoying this wonderful work
