Dear Donor's,

Today, I write to you as Francis Ogen. I am a dedicated 20-year-old member of the Butterfly Project, and I am currently studying Human Resource Management at Ndejje University. The academic journey I traverse is propelled by a profound dream that one day I will establish a nonprofit organization dedicated to community literacy. I imagine that such an organization could work its way into the villages of Uganda and help the young children and the illiterate there become literate in both English and their native tongues. Your possible contribution of £500 toward my tuition would mean much more than just financial aid. It would represent a solid cornerstone enabling me to build the aforementioned dream into something real, something that can have an effect on the misguided human resources practices so prevalent in my nation and the educational opportunities available to the people living in it

Your willingness to consider and potentially support my educational pursuit is an act of immense significance. Your partnership signifies not only an investment in my personal growth but also a shared commitment to fostering a brighter future through education, community engagement, and the promotion of literacy in underserved areas.

My courses in Human Resource Management underpin the very work I plan to execute in my envisioned non-governmental organization. The work of an NGO that serves a rural village demands a whole new set of HR principles particularly for an HR department that does not yet exist! NGO work requires tapping volunteer talent, establishing effective systems for communication, and organizing development in a way that facilitates the NGO’s mission. Most importantly, my studies in HRM will help ensure that a culture of continuous learning and improvement exists within the NGO, thus enabling the staff and community members we serve to access better pathways to sustainable literacy.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude for your attention to my cause and the potential role you may play in shaping this transformative journey. Your generosity possesses the transformative power to ignite profound changes and create lasting impacts in the lives of individuals and communities alike.

Thank you for embodying hope and opportunity as I strive to achieve my educational goals and contribute meaningfully to societal betterment through the nexus of education, community literacy, and human resource management.

With warm regards and deep appreciation,

Francis Ogen
