Unity As One Youth Club. Help children do homework

Aim

I want to help children succeed at school. I help them with their school work, homeworks, reading and spelling I also do Craft and cooking.

I consider myself as a creative and innovative person. I would like to care and educate children in our community, help children with difficult needs, make sure they focus and learn. I have a degree in Community Studies and now studying PGCE at the University. Young children in our community need support with their education which is why I decided to start a community youth club where I and my colleagues support children with their homework, reading and spelling. We also do a cooking/Baking club, art and craft, African drumming, etc. 

With the support I will get I want to buy Equipments needed for the club, help pay the centre we're using for our club, I want to help children with gym membership as well as most of them are struggling to live a healthy lifestyle due to some difficulties. I also want to take children somewhere to do activities as a reward for working hard with their school work and treat them during school half term. Doing this will help encourage them to work hard at school.

A youth club is a place for children to meet and enjoy themselves. It helps them in many ways. The most important aim for a youth club is to learn how to be a good person and make the club to be part of their life.

I believe that these children are our future leaders therefore they need support. Doing this will help reduce crime in our community as they will be occupied and learn more.
