Aim: Unit 12 needs your help to expand our community offering!
Unit 12 is a not-for-profit community hub and home to lots of incredible organisations. Our spaces offer opportunities for all ages - from dance and drama, counselling and supporting young carers, to support groups and baby classes. We also have a community café run by Munch CIC that uses surplus food to create delicious meals!
Our aim is to create a stronger community in Winchester and support the most vulnerable at the same time. In order to this, we hope to:
- Act as a support hub for refugees, offering information, language classes, food pantry support and more
- Continue and expand our Community Pantry offering
- Co-ordinate workshops for local people
- Enhance our Community Garden open afternoons
- Ensure our building is an accessible and effective place for our hirers, users, and community
With the ongoing impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and many in our community in vital need of support, we'd be so grateful if you could give as much as you are able to help us continue to serve the people of Winchester.
