This December I'll be running 100km (62.14 miles) to raise money to support the work of the UniBrass Foundation.
The UniBrass Foundation is a registered charity which, as well as running events such as the UniBrass Contest and Band Camp, works to support university brass banding and all those involved with it. By supporting the charity you are enabling not only a bright future for the contest and Band Camp, but also the ability for us to extend what we do and offer more events and opportunities to members of the university brass banding community.
I spent 8 years playing in university brass bands (Durham, Warwick and Cambridge) and had the great pleasure of organising UniBrass 2023 in Warwick. The opportunities and support UniBrass provides ensure that university students continue playing in brass bands after leaving school and keep playing once they've graduated.
