We're still collecting donations
On the 20th January 2021 we'd raised £9,326 with 65 supporters in 41 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

On the 20th January 2021 we'd raised £9,326 with 65 supporters in 41 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
Our bigger, long term goal is to develop a new, subscription-based program which will house an expanded and evolving range of live and on-demand classes and courses, in both yoga and other wellness-promoting disciplines!
Our aim for this is to streamline the virtual experience for students and to ensure that you will have your favourite teachers in your pocket wherever you are! The platform will also always offer a range of high quality, free content for the whole community, meeting our aim to ensure that everyone who could benefit from these practises is able to.
We are a small yoga studio with a big passion for community! We are lucky to be based on Lavender Hill in Battersea where the neighbourhood welcomed us warmly from day one and embraced our core aim to be a safe space to bring people together.
Since we first opened our doors in 2015 we have never lost sight of that aim and continue to strive above all else to make everyone stepping through the door, whether for their first class or 500th, feel welcome and at ease.
As for all small businesses, this year’s lockdowns have hit us hard and there is no end in sight to the very necessary limitations in place for being able to safely bring larger groups of people together in one space, which our studio had previously relied upon. However, we have used this challenge as an opportunity to think about our offerings differently and to expand into the ways we can make yoga and mindfulness more widely accessible. Like most in the industry we were able to take some of our classes online via Zoom, for which we are so grateful and were relieved to realise that the strength of community can still be felt over the internet!
As we don't know when we’ll be able to return to our previous studio capacity, we have created a goal of evolving our yoga and mindfulness online offerings to make them as easy and safe to access for as many people as possible. These plans will allow us to continue to be nimble as a business as we face the unknowns of the next year as well as develop our model to offer you, our community, valuable classes, memorable experiences and interesting content.
Also, through the Back to Business Fund, the Mayor of London will match every pound we raise up to a maximum of £5,000 - or 50% of our campaign target - specifically to help us expand our operation online, invest in our future and adapt to safe, socially distant trading.
See below for our 4-step plan of action to evolve our yoga and mindfulness online offerings for the benefit of the whole community:
Thank you in advance for your continued support throughout 2020. We have been continuously buoyed and uplifted by the generosity of our community, specifically in regards to our own Pay It Forward Fund that we ran earlier this year, which helped to break down the financial barrier to accessing yoga classes for anyone suffering in the current economic climate. Your kindness and support constantly inspires us to persevere through the difficult times and look forward to a brighter future.
We ask project owners to honour their rewards wherever possible but please note that all pledges are donations and there is no guarantee that you will receive any rewards from the project owner. Please see our Terms of Use for more information regarding rewards for pledges.
