If we have any money left after our visit, we will donate it to Caritas Polska, who are supporting Ukrainian refugees and those who remain in Ukraine by providing water, food, medicines, sleeping bags and hygiene products.

We have been observing very closely the ongoing horror for millions resulting from the invasion of Ukraine. We couldn’t turn a blind eye! We wanted to help even if it only a small amount!

My work-friends and I are traveling to Poland on 6th of April to help for a week with the Ukrainian refugees arriving in Poland. John, Victor, Dan, Ruan, Laura, Dave, Emily, Chloe-Rose and I hope to make a small difference to some individuals’ lives. We will be staying with friends and family to keep accommodation cost to minimum.

We aim to welcome to Poland as many Ukrainian refugees as possible by providing crucial living necessities and medication. However, we won’t stop there!

Some of us are parents, and so are heart-broken when kids suffer in front of our eyes! Therefore, we want to help in welcoming Ukrainian orphans who arrive in the main reception point of – Stalowa Wola. We want to assist in providing a safe and healthy environment in new surroundings after all the horror they have experienced.  We want to support them with food and travel to their final destinations. We want to provide necessities, medication, and medical equipment for their health.

We then want to help to take care of families who had to stay in Ukraine to protect their country and their civilians. We will prepare and provide transport of priority medication into Ukraine.

We want to use the money raised for:

  • Food, drinks, and energy bars for refugees on arrival at reception points,
  • Sleeping bags and blankets for refugees,
  • Chocolate bars for the children and small toys,
  • Covering transportation costs from reception points to final locations for Ukrainian orphans,
  • Crucial medical and emergency equipment for Ukrainian orphans,

If we have any money left after our visit, we will donate it to Caritas Polska, who are supporting Ukrainian refugees and those who remain in Ukraine by providing water, food, medicines, sleeping bags and hygiene products.
